It’s starts with the room..
Where I was at before was a true juggernaut.
The power was filthy, spliced etc,
-RFI’s to Close Encounter’s levels.

Not here, the power’s as clean as a baby’s butt.
After running this 4X12 at proper volumes where the Greenbacks can seat is an experience not guitar player should miss.
Oh yeah, I’ll be making clips, lol..
You can’t make a 2nd 1st impression.
For me, I learned long ago.. you need the right volume where the topology can kick ass &
break the f**k-up.

I had to sit down after 15 minutes stabbing out on this combo here & collect myself before I could even check myself

FYI, I’ve started a guitar set-up/repair bid’ness.
I know just how guitar player’s like it
AND I won’t skimp’ you on the guitar’s action.

Anyways..I’ve already got a glowing example of an apprentice in the house!
He goes by the name “Gunnar”
He removed the neck pick-up for R&D experience.
-Off to a great start right outta’ the cannon!

What’s trippin’ me out is how well the windows/doors shield off volume.
If you go out my front or back door,
you will likely hear live music of some sort on any night.
But inside you can’t hear anything so….
-that means ‘we’ can fire in the hole it on the inside
My neighbor also owns a restaurant/bar
(The Bricks) so he works uber late.
Coupled with:
He’s a hell of a drummer & cool AF.
(I’ve known him 30+ years)

Anybody here know where the
color TV Yellow came from?

-it’s in reference to black & white television with
the sorta’ yellow hue in the white color of the actual film roll.
It’s not really black & white.
-it’s black, yellow & white,LOL!
This guitar is drom 1992’ so it’s a broken-in bitch.

Time to pull some ‘gold’ through the signal

Got the drums here and the
“Super-Gong From Hell”.

I’ve decided to host an all out amp fest.
6 dudes and their amps.
There’s an extra room upstairs with great acoustics, perfect for those Gibson Falcons or
Champs on‘Roids, small wattage amps etc
And in the courtyard will host the poker table.
All I can say there is a loser is a winner who played ‘one more hand
Bring your amps, cash & nutz.

Afterwards,
- we can go burn down the Ybor City town.
The acoustics in this buiding are too good not to do it.
So if any of you are in Florida & wanna join the extravaganza, I say months zone.

The bamboo floors have been in for almost 20 years so they have a broken-in jean jacket woody’ness to the reflection of the sound
I bet the 12foot ceilings are very welcoming to my Black Beauty sitting over there.

Yes it does. I have the same floors and vaulted ceilings! Bout the same age too.

These moments..
My son actually installed the gun metal chicken
head knobs.., I did the 1st 2 & he demanded to take over.
My reaction & response:
“10-4.., I’ll stand back & stay interested”!

There’s somethin’ about gun metal
-it’s taking over.
My cars gun metal, amplifiers controls are all gun metal-(installing them on the Rocca’Vox next), etc
Stoked!

I forgot about this little bugger’,
so I installed it in V1 of the Lenz.
My immediate vibe was an old school Ei.
Has that aggressive get-up & go.
Be great for dropped D Mick Marrs filth..
Pushed to the crust..held together great l,
no noticeable hiss or over the top feedback.
Actually the feedback was easily
controlled by the touch
-so we welcomed it.
Btw, these are the re-issue Tele’s.
Against the Tung-Sol 12ax7 in the amplifier prior?
-I’d say the Tele’s a touch darker but definately meaner.
Noise levels are the same between the two &
not noticeably noisy at all.
I do think the Tele’s encourage the use of more volume & push the gain.
When I engaged the amps push-pull gain boost,
shit got balls to wall.
A good notch over the TS 12ax7.

The Octane JMP’s salivating at the chops for one of these somewhere in the pre-amp

Dude’s, these pseudo-Tele’s are KILLER.
They are not cheap, but what good is?
I installed the Tung-Sol back in V1 &
installed the pseudo-TeleFUNK in V2
and hot damn…it’s SICK af!!
They’re worth the price of admission
I wanna run’em all,all the way to the end of the street.
Eddy’s a bad ass & has all Tung Sols tall from the factory though-Good man!
That’s a “G” move.
It’s hard to believe Eddy’s 23…WTF?
The PT’s are Mick Marrs in a ECC83.
