Someone said direct signal or Roland Jazz Chorus and that is not what OP is looking for
 
I enjoy the work of a number of very talented and experienced Jazzers; and whilst they use a number of different amps, (off the top of my head) three of the players definitely use :

Fender Champ / Deluxe Reverb clone
Fender Twin / small boutique tube amp
Fender Princeton Reverb


... but apparently there's nothing in Fractaland for Jazzers.

Life expectancy of FM9

This device is cool and all that, but i was recently thinking- how long can it live so to say? This thing is a computer in essence. Computers don’t last long. I think maybe it will last 10 years. But i doubt it will last 20. Any thoughts? Maybe some parts could be replaced so it can last...

For the failed unit, sh*t happens sometimes. If I were seeing people report the need to send them back to FAS on a consistent basis (like 2-3 a week) I’d certainly have my own concerns but it seems this only happens once or twice a year (from what I can tell on the forum).

As for the other dude, I dunno, it’s either a dim witted troll or a not-very-observant individual. There’s mass produced rack gear from the 80’s still doing it’s thing just fine these days, never mind a modern day, boutique unit from a company hellbent on being the best they can be.

There was a jazz one in week one, I think! :rofl I don’t think anyone used it and it’s a chore and a half sorting through all the MIDI files I have, so ya git what ya git until ya’ll start making your own drum tracks. :ROFLMAO: (I know you were joking)
 
Don't understand why anyone bashes Fractal products? Sure they have some hardware issue like any other electronic product out there but mind you I'm sure its a really small percentage, what's important is not how and why if failed rather how the company handles its customers that is by far way more important, from what i gather Fractal is very solid on taking care of its customers, same as line6

Honestly, I could keep going. The list is many many times longer than this.

This "user" has never replied on any of those forums so far. I suggest that until they prove themselves to be an actual human that has owned an FM3 here, you are wasting your time with them.

I'm posting here instead of linking, because I reported the post as a bot - it's possible that FAS admins may delete it.

Anyway, I feel it's important to mention this stuff here on TGF, because sooner or later you may end up getting involved with a thread started by a bot. We need to stay vigilant! We already have what looks like a couple of "sleeper" accounts (they sign up all the time).

I’m fully convinced a certain poster with the letters veji and chan stuck together is actually a bot. I started trying to help that dude with mixes a while back and it was extremely frustrating as he’d never respond to my questions, just ask more questions. Then I found out he was doing it on other forums and if you visit Sevenstring.org, there are generally 1-3 posts a week made asking the forum a question. I fully believe it’s a bot released on gear forums to collect information. When he does actually respond, it’s extremely rare that ”he’s” responding to questions being asked. If it’s not a bot, I dunno man….weird sh*t.
