I'll see your one half brain cell, and subtract/raise you 1/4 brain cell. Wait . . .I have one half of one functioning brain cell and I never said it!

Has anyone had a chance to try this out? I think it sounds really good. This seems to have cleaned up something in the low end that I was having trouble dialing out before. According to Cliff: "The latest changes improve the accuracy of the bias excursion. In general this means less bias excursion for low frequencies which means "tighter" tones and palm mutes. It depends on the particular amp though. Some amps will be essentially unaffected by the new algorithm."Unreal!!
Improved preamps. Interesting.

I'm curious if you felt like you noticed that before you read Cliff's notes. You know, the confirmation bias thing.Has anyone had a chance to try this out? I think it sounds really good. This seems to explain what I'm hearing.
Yes, I posted something about it in the FAS thread prior to that. I also went back and forth between 28.08, just to make sure there really was a difference. Cliff only chimed in with that comment to respond to someone who doesn't seem to like it.I'm curious if you felt like you noticed that before you read Cliff's notes. Nice. I'm slowly getting more and more reasons to update...Yes, I posted something about it in the FAS thread prior to that.
