YEs I think Cliff really listens to the Power Users

He listens to anyone who has a logical, good suggestion. I’ve seen him change things based on regular user’s posts due to their own experiences with specific amps, he’s added some of Laxu’s UI recommendations and overall, the Feature Requests on the forum are mostly from regular users. Sure, he’s done some stuff at the request of guys like Petrucci, Hetfield, etc, but fame or usage doesn’t really mean much as long as the suggestion makes sense.

Yes true, but I meant You guys as power Users not the Pro's, while for sure he does take their Input, and yes has to make sense and be viable for sure

Yeah the new input gate does not take 30 percent nor does the new gate. I don't think input gate adds any and the new gate adds 1.5 percent

He wanted something like the ISP decimator which was the best gate for the thrash and hi gain players

To Drews point above about Fas listening to the community and watching wish lists ,Cliff replied I don’t have a chance to look at it now but will when time permits

My guess is the new Modern Gate expander is a take on an ISP style design , probably with some improvements Also requested was that ISP had only one knob
Hence easy mode on the new one

Haha I think I just got lucky with the timing of my wish. I think he said it was already planned for the next release, but thanks for the mention!

But really, my wish is to have amps modeled like the real amps! But it looks like he's taken note of that, in that it seems like we're getting closer in this new release (I haven't downloaded it yet, as I generally don't do Betas.)

So where is this Shred Boost switch? We already have "Shred", as a boost type in the Amp block. How is this different? (@Stone probably knows more about it than I do. )

Unfortunately Stone knows Helix, Fractal not so much (yet), the Helix does not have JP Boogie

I’ve owned Fractal gear since the standard. I currently own an FM3 and considering getting a FM9 again…. so yeah I’m a fan just not one that think people who poke fun at the Fractal fanboy drama and shenanigans are Fractal haters.
