Nah. Just clarifying the difference between a bona fide iconoclast, like Carlin, and someone who has a
penchant for tossing his stones around on the Internet and making girls cry when their most cherished
beliefs are crushed before their eyes, and by someone they don't know, and who may have below average
intelligence to begin with.

Ya it looks like their new version of cabs is getting close to release
Should be cool also interesting York Posted some test shots w mic preamps maybe they are working together

Jokes aside, I've been messing around with real and modelled versions of the same hardware tonight, including using the FM9 into a real amp with models of my real pedals and... well... they really do sound the same. I swear that a line was crossed in the last few months.

Then again, I wasn't riding the FAS train all those years that Ejecta was, so perhaps I know nothing

No man…. the Fractal stuff definitely sounds good and if it sounds identical to you then that’s all that matters.

On the last part and the thread can get back on topic… There’s just a long history of a bunch stupid hype around EVERY “update” In software and hardware ever since very early on when the product was young and when people said it sounds practically the same as previous updates or my amp still sounds better…. they got piled on by some who are too “invested” in their brand of choice and that was propagated from the top down in the company through some sycophants. That turns some people off to the brand. For me it doesn’t really because if it sounds it is but I still poke fun at it.

It gets old for some who are IMHO way too invested emotionally in their gear brand of choice and some who like clowns and honestly I could give shit if it does. There’s an ignore feature on these forums and feel free to place me firmly in there if you can’t handle my comments.

I think it's interesting. Seems to add some depth to it compared to traditional cabs....almost like you are standing in the room but I wouldn't say amp in room
