Yeah, I dunno if the guy ever takes breaks for holidays but whenever he’s quiet for a little while, there’s never NOT been something in the works. Maybe the cab block thing he was talking about a little while back.
 
Considering they said the cab block has been in development for like 6 months, it's probably not too far off. It's honestly more of a nice ease of use improvement, the Axe-Fx has already been capable of multi-IR mixing for years so all the new cab system does is make it more intuitive to the user compared to the file browser thing.

IMO the most relevant improvement they could do is the larger text display on the FM3/FM9 so it's more readable on the floor. Even if it's just for the home views.

I think the cab stuff will be a new CAB lab 4 app

I think maybe they are working on the larger fonts GUI stuff and maybe the getting rid of the authentic/ ideal thing that annoys him and building a more streamlined display in the editor

But definitely working on something to be quiet from December one of the FM9 beta guys said good stuff coming the other day

Oh. I'd forgotten about that Cab block stuff. Nice to know that there is something to look forward to.
 
Didn't Cliff mention something about utilizing AI for the new Cab Block? I am guessing he
is going to blow the roof off the joint and it won't be a small or slight step forward.

I think whatever is next I expect will be a good one , first firmware of 2023
 
Modelling is jut advancing in leaps and bounds, FAS & Line 6 are the most active and at the forefront in offering Firmware updates but not just by adding more gear, they are actually improving tones and user experience

The only one left that I really want him to do is that Nobles ODR1. there are a ton of votes on that one and it is one of the most prominent drive boxes on the Nashville players boards , than I really have no ,more drive requests
The only thing I have noticed about some of the drives is them come in very hot , they have a lot of gain even at 10 or 11 o'clock , I have played with the mix , and it helps but if still feel there is too much gain on some IMO

Also Question and I am sure I am just not looking in the right spot , How do I set up a custom Graphic Q, instead of using the 120 , 250 . that is there. can I set it for different values like a VHT eq 100. 250. 630 1.2 .2.3 etc
