You’re not alone. That’s the first thing I thought of too!Oh. s**t yeah! hahah. So obvious, now and kinda embarrassing.
Whenever I see the word "Xanadu" I only think of Olivia Newton-John and ELO. Showing my age here.
I thought of the new Winery Dogs song lolYou’re not alone. That’s the first thing I thought of too!
Yup same hereI don’t even own a Fractal and have thoroughly enjoyed following the series
So I am guessing you got your 567th FM9?This preset is legit AF
With the artist presets you are always usually going to have to reshape that for your guitarThe Artists Presets and GOT was super cool. Hell, is super cool. I think it is awesome. Apart from a
couple of IRs, though, I have been decicedly underwhelmed in utitlizing any of it. It was confimed
at rehearsal last night. I reverted back to my primary JCM800 based preset with some Bogner Blue
and Princeton thrown in. None of the Artist presets sounded right in that setting, and it makes total
sense. They are not dialed in for a heated garage in the middle of winter somewhere in BFE!
Agreed Mark has some really amazing presetsMokes GOT preset moving pitch block technique is pure magic. I snagged it as well as the Devin Townsend wah block trick for my own 4cm purposes \m/

So many great Aerosmith songs from their drug-influenced era! I saw them live and never sat down until they played Love in an Elevator. That era sucked azz!I had some fun with them today; found a backing track of "Sweet Emotion", the actual song, without the guitars and played along using Brad's preset. Hahahah that's a f*ck of a lot more rocked out and distorted than the album! I figure if I have a Les Paul in my hands, good timing.
Tim's preset sounds great with both my Strats and just as good with the Les Paul, exactly what I hoped it'd be and pretty much sounds like some of my couch noodling presets.
I've got Vai's delays in some of my own presets, just tweaked a bit. I haven't tried the Lifeson blocks yet, but I just loaded them last night. I can't remember if I was going to keep anything else. Oh, Austin's Purple Haze preset sounds pretty good with the LP, I'm sure it'd be even better with a Strat.
100%. They were best by a landslide when they were using. As terrible as that sounds to say.So many great Aerosmith songs from their drug-influenced era! I saw them live and never sat down until they played Love in an Elevator. That era sucked azz!
It's true. Drugs have a way of opening up one's creativity. The addiction is (one of) the part that sucks. Rocks was my favorite album, and they were heavy into heroin at the time.100%. They were best by a landslide when they were using. As terrible as that sounds to say.
Megadeth was a great example of this. Mustaine replaced booze and drugs with anger and bitterness and has been generally great for most of his discography but he certainly had some missteps. It's true.
