I've thought about it and I'm going to do a comparison between my EVH, the Axe Fx III (Stealth), Quad Cortex (Stealth) and TMP. We'll see how it goes!

I honestly really WANT this to go well! I hope it turns out better than I'm expecting! The Rockerverb might be the most accurate model I've heard of that amp although the Helix one is also very close...

Their backup process is pretty unusual. You can do a full backup to the SD card (which is in itself weird in 2024), but if you want to backup or save changes to an individual preset it must be done in the cloud, where everyone else has access to it as well.

Fender-guy stilwel on TGP: Our combo or half-stack amp models are aware of which cabinet you've paired with them. So an appropriate SIC is automagically selected.

So is it in the cab block or the amp block? I'm confused now. If it's in the cab block, then there's no need for the amp model to be aware of it

It might not even be in either block, it might be something added in the background that responds to the amp and cab chosen. I think that would be much easier than revamping the amp blocks, but who knows. I guess if it gets the desired results, it should be okay.
