Hopefully....I'm going to eat some crow (Fender Tonemaster Pro content)

Two IR’s, either with different mic positions or different cabs, can be combined outside of the modeler. IR’s are linear so it is just math to combine them and save the load on the modeler.

Being a visual person, I must admit I’m leaning towards the TMP versus the fractal, but from what I’ve listened to and seen and read, I think the fractal is pretty far ahead of this thing and tones effects and engineering, but unfortunately, the fractal leaves a lot to be desired in the way of the GUI in my opinion
I know there are a lot of technical guys on this forum. They have a lot of technical jobs so the kind of interface on the fractal doesn’t bother them at all and they actually like it or don’t mind it and that’s cool but I think a lot of people that are more visually stimulated will appeal towards a thing like the TMP or big touchscreen even the Quad core
Glad to see Kemper releasing a Mark too however, they kept that same display, which is weird, but also probably keeps their cost way down

I'm not a tech guy by any stretch of the imagination, and I can get around on my Fractals just fine. There's just a ton of accessible parameters to deal with, but once you have a solid familiarity with everything it's not hard to deal with at all.

There's been very little hype or excitement over the TMP since the release. I think Fender would do very well to release a smaller cheaper version of the TMP to get their foot in the door of a very crowded market. I'd probably try it out, but I don't think I'd drop $1500+ or whatever they run on the big dog.

Jarick, thIs thread alone, which is a side-topic, peripheral thread, has 254 posts. The main TMP thread on this site has close to 1700 posts. Obviously, the TMP related threads on That Other Foum are much, much higher (e.g., 12,000+ posts)

For a 2+ years old digital modeler, I would cordially suggest that implies a fair bit of enthusiasm and interest (excitement/hype). Does the TMP have the user base of the much older and well established players, such as Fractal, Kemper. or Helix…well, no, obviously.

lol. Haven’t checked in here for some time but it’s been what 2 years and you’re still on the fence about shelling out for a top tier product from literally any brand?

What do you have to lose? Buy one used and use it for 2 months…either you love it and keep it or you flip it and maybe worst case lose 50 bucks? You’ve probably made 100’s of comments across forums about all these products…wouldn’t you like to form your own opinion vs just reading or watching other people’s?

Hell I even have a Tonex one that I’ll mail you for free to use as long as you want!

Get off the sidelines Tim!
