Wow, I assumed their first update would contain mainly things they had in the works already and didn’t think they’d get to the SIC stuff just yet. I haven’t paid attention enough to know all the current customer gripes but off the top of my head it looks like they got ‘em. I know the 3/4 outputs and expression pedal stuff has popped up a few times as an issue.

Didn’t they also give July as the expected timeline for the first big update?
Let’s see how they did guitarjon just recently did an SLO comparison now they have that model and the Rockerverb as well as impedance curves for his own hammer Irs

@JCW308 they fixed the preset to preset expression pedal bug you reported a ways back.

Should I? I have the SLO 30 so people will complain... I do have the Rockerverb 50 MKIII, I guess that's what they based it on?
You totally should
If they have fixed the old model like EVH and the new models are contender ,
I will give them huge kudos and force myself to watch a full DougB video of release notes

I didn’t see any mention of amp model fixes in the release notes, you would think if they dug into those they would put it in bold font in the notes.

No mention of improvements to the Marshalls, but you never know... there may have been some sneaky unlisted tweaks anyway. We can but hope 🙏

Still, they made good on their promise of a significant update and they do seem to have changed tack to accomodate user feedback.

EDIT: @Frodebro Jinx!

Buyers of "My first modeler" don't care.

I dunno, I’m seeing requests for amps and effects from them. Never mind that they’re asking for things that all of the competing units have had for years…

Which begs the question: Can you brag about how easy your new modeler is to program when it doesn’t do half the things you want it to?

Id be quite interested in seeing some of your old comparisons revisited now that the 3rd party IR and SIC issue is supposedly solved. It would be interesting to see if that was actually affecting the poor sound quality or it is in fact the modelling.
