IMO your not imagining it , Fractal was always great but this latest Cygnus 3 really hits the mark for both high gainers, EOB and cleans '

Since the FM3 finally got the Brit 800 2203 models and all I’ve had to go on were peoples’ reactions and YouTube clips, this is the first time I’ve actually got to play through it.

I just looked at the clock and realized that I’ve spent the last two hours straight jamming through the Brit 800 2203 High model and holy shit is it good! Kicked on the Saturation switch (ideal) and it became a snarling beast! “Karrang” and “thunk” for days!

I may have pissed off my neighbors, but it was well worth it. Cheers @FractalAudio, I just fell back in love with this amazing machine.

I had a quick play on it as well. Awesome classic metal tones. A bit too much room reverb (from Mercury X ) and I was back in the 80's doing lines in the studio and the producer waiting for me to pass out so he can bring in someone who can actually play

I love that model and the New silver Jubilee which is just a darker meaner JCM800
But with the new changes it kills and reminds me so much of the old Jubilee head my neighbour had and it sounded incredible
