I know, I was kidding. Studio monitors. I'll crank it up louder. I'm not saying it's not great, I'm just saying it already was great. Does accuracy in this case mean better, or just more accurate to the reference amp?

I would definitely say more accurate. To me, the biggest difference from the previous release is the feel and response. My favorite models respond and react to my playing much closer to the real amp counterparts that I’ve owned.

To me the amps sound cleaner, a little less messy, a little smoother. It's subtle but it's an improvement to me.

We’ll see. I was originally thinking about an FM3. The only reason I went FM9 at the time was because of the gapless switching. Otherwise the form factor of the FM3 is better for me

I find that most modelers are in the ballpark from a tone standpoint until you are listening at gig levels or on a set of large studio monitors. That’s when you hear all the quirks and warts that make the Axe-FX stand out from the rest.
