Loving the 59 bassguy amp with the washburn hb35 semi-hollow guitar for some jazz! Little bit of mono tape and gold plate reverb.

Throw little bit of rat distortion around 2.50 in front of the amp and you can get some nice juicy jazz/fusion leads on neck pickup.

There’s an immediacy to the 59 and 65 bassguy that is just magical. I don’t know what it is other than serious mojo. One of those and a tube spring in front and I’m set. It grabs me in a way that no other amp does in the box, and I’m a metal guy.

Interesting thing on FM9 forum
Seems a few guys on this update are rolling back as it is to bright

Some are loving it and most notably the guys that own the actual real amps like Marshall’s Freidmans.

It makes me think of DIgital Igloos comment about accuracy vs what many perceive to be what the real amps sound like

Sometimes the more authentic the model is you lose some guys that want the idealized version
