Abandoned that and played Hawaii Five-0 and Pipeline with an LP and the 2203
Feeling much better now

I had a brief moment reading the release notes where I thought "I could get myself an Axe-FX for Christmas. It's the season!" I guess the moment wasn't actually that brief because I'm still in it. Send help.

Just a thought... My Axe Fx III Mk II was $2100 3 years ago, and right now it's only $100 more. And 14 FW's more refined. Which is easily worth the extra money, just for all the extra effects/amps. Not even counting inflation these past couple years.
That alone is pretty impressive!

As an owner of a Mark V I actually feel like the Fractal Mark 5 band is better. You seriously have finer
grain control of it than with the actual amp. Actual amp you cannot vary by thousands.... a little nudge
on the physical slider and you may have gone too far. Nudge it back down and you went too far the
other way. Rinse and repeat until you start too think you need another amp.
In the Fractal the ability to finetune the EQ is far more accessible and available to the user.
