we even received Dyna Cabs (albeit lower sample rate?) for the FM3

IIRC the Dyna-Cab IR sample rate and length in the FM3 is the same as that on the FM9. Only the AF3 has the larger format and storage space to handle it. So FM3 owners aren't missing out on something that the FM9 might have, in this case.
