What are we watching now?

Who knew Murphy's team mate was a stone cold fox (and still is frankly)?

She was duking DePalma at the time of filming.

I've never seen the latter. Apparently I need to...

Dude, you definitely have to in that case. Willem Dafoe is fantastic, but William L. Peterson is the most awesome thing ever. For that matter, John Pankow and John Turturo are incredibly too. It's weird and disturbing and 100% badass. I highly recommend a golden era William L. Peterson double header of To Live and Die in LA immediately followed by Manhunter.

I'll be watching it for 9 hours across the next 3 days - as performed primarily by other people's kids at my daughter's middle school. I think she has about 5 minutes of stage time. Toeing that fine line between "doting parent" and "weirdo". The things we do for love...

At first I thought you were talking about To Live and Die in LA, and I almost choked on my food! Reminds me of the high school play version of Serpico in Rushmore.

When your kids realize there is a new season of Is It Cake because you don’t scroll past it fast enough…

Amazing Race is the new Lego Masters. Pass me that toaster will you?

(Could be worse - no one has noticed the steaming heaps of Masked Singer piling up on the DVR. Yes, could be far worse.)

The Gentlemen is cracking along quite nicely. I LOVE Vinnie Jones playing against type. I also love the fact that I am betting he reverts back at some point :satan
I binged to the end of this yesterday; absolutely loved it. Consistently entertaining, colorful, just smart enough.

I didn't enjoy Season 2 of The Tourist quite as much as S1. The plot was just a touch too clever for me by the end, and the main characters - whom I found really charming and endearing in S1 - got a bit tiresome in S2. Still worth watching, though; beautiful locations and excellent casting.

P.S. When/ why did you change your damned username??

True story. Was part of a product naming meeting many years back and an option was 'Outcast' since it was a wireless outdoor speaker.
One person in the meeting was adamant that Outcast would alienate Christian consumers. Dude got red in the face arguing at one point.

Sanity won out.

I might not be sufficiently "Christian" to fully appreciate this anecdote. :D (Is this a Satan thing?)

(My "edgy" comment was less to do with the actual blasphemy and more to do with fashion, per the whole '90s edgy/ extreme/ dark side schtick.)
