What a "surprising" development!

Were you using an IR from a triangle shaped 3x12 cab though? :knit

Have they ever talked about having an input gain block?
I don`t know
I have never felt i need it, I set it up with my humbucker and then the rest of guitar would be good I would think. Pickups are as hot as they are. A strat should not drive a Fender amp the same as a gibson LP. And we got 2 inputs, so you could set one higher then the other

Gary is never wonderful. You and your lovely Misses must have broken down on I-94.
Was gonna mention having fun at Horseshoe Casino. Then I realized I originally thought it would be like a Vegas casino with people having fun playing the craps table and cheering for a hot shooter, only to find out it is more like people bringing what is left of their meager paycheck and trying in vain to actually get back more than they spend.

That and it is in Hammond.

He's using the QC and it's everything he dreamed of. Except for the constructive criticisms at the end. He must have taken the $ that KMac2021 left on the table :bag

Thanks. I skimmed through it only to realize I got conned into watching marketing. At least there was a small consolation that I thought some of his riffs were fun.

I'M LITERALLY FLABBERGASTED AT THIS SHOCKING DEVELOPMENT!

The following is just purely my personal opinion.

His Reviews and "opinions" about gear have become unwatchable and cringeworthy.

Go back to a video he did when he first tried the Atomic Amplifier and his reactions and comments were identical.

Go back to his numerous Kemper videos and his reactions and comments were identical.

Go back to his Boss Katana videos and his reactions and comments were identical.

Go back to his Victory Amps video's and his reactions and comments were identical.

Go back to his Bad Cat Amp video's and his reactions and comments were identical.

I'm pretty sure there was even a reasonably recent Helix video and his reactions and comments were identical-ish.

And the list goes on and on and on etc ......

Rabea isn't far behind.

I.m.o Tom Q is still ok-ish.

I.m.o Pete T is also still ok-ish.

I've got no issue with their playing chops - they run rings around me - but C's and R's opinions and reviews have become compulsory non-watching.

I agree that *normally* tone is subjective - as it should be.

However in the world of paid-reviewers-influencers-product-hoppers-chasing-the-dollars etc.... .... tone is no longer subjective .... tone becomes biased and opinions become warped and distorted.

Ben
We often give the spotlight or argue about influencers. Who are some of your guys favorite YouTubers?

Well i dont listen to influencers or reviewers in general I may listen to this bit or that bit, def dont go on how this sounds, compared to that on youtube or that Rhett Shull recommends this or that, what i do enjoy and like is How Leon reviews gear and how he dials in tone, same as Jason Sadites , both those guys offer very instructional videos
i may listen to what this feature is or something, but for me ill do my own reviewing and judging based on what I feel is the right gear or guitar for my needs, of course all within my budget

Yeah people always look at us weird when I say that. My wife insists I use a town nearby but I can never recall the name lol. The venue was really nice though!

Haha! Your wife is smart.

My Aunt and Uncle owned a Motel in Michigan City, IN, and another in New Buffalo, MI so I know
the area pretty well.

It's so true. Casinos are nothing like the commercials portray them as being. More broken
hearts and shattered hopes walking out of them than high-fives and drinks for everyone vibes
going on in them.

You start giving honestly critical and balanced reviews, then how much business are you going to have
as a reviewer/influencer if that is your gig? I am guessing not much.

This is why I like guys like Phil McKnight, he's fair and critical - I guess to a fault. He loves to mention the fact that companies don't love the fact that he takes his time to know a piece of gear, therefore companies tend to do less business with him and his content dwindles in the vein of more niche gear.
