Why no "High End" Behringer Modeler ...... seriously ?

considering behringer just flushed out most of their TC staff I’m not sure what they’ll do with that brand now. Hard to imagine that they’ll have many ties to the past if the core team of staff aren’t there any more.

While I use some of their products, while I even think that some of their products might be a part of "equipment liberation", Behringer as a whole is a pretty disgusting company, so I can only second this emotion:

I would never trust Behringer to offer the things we love about Line6 or Fractal: Long term support and continuous improvement.

Meh, people still buy Headrush shit so it’s not that important to everyone if the features/price point is there. Half the people I know using modelers never even update them.

I know almost all of the TC Helicon team (Victoria, BC) left a while back because they were relegated to making budget USB interfaces, but I hadn't heard about anything at Danish TC.

There was a load of stuff from former employees on linked in that said 30+ were let go in Denmark in one go in November. Sure they won’t have a problem finding new jobs but hopefully they won’t all get dispersed out into different fields.

Oh, well... I wonder why is used in almost every venue I gigged (mid to big theaters). I maybe gigged 50 theaters in last couple years, and 90% of the times there was an X32 (a few times, the compact version). All sounded awesome. I also know studios where they use the X32.

I suppose you have good reasons to think it´s a meh product, of course.

But man, if you´re deniying the X32 is an absolute success and a great product (not even for the price), then I guess We aren´t going to agree almost in anything.

2010s and 2020s, thing has been around forever. Pretty much nobody is mixing live sound in 2000 cap rooms on Neve or Audient boards, what a wild comparison.

Most defenitely not. It's all X32, Wings or some Yamaha stuff. Sure, more popular acts may feel to scale up a bit, but there's pretty much no high end in live mixing anymore.
Doesn't make the Behringer offerings high end units, though. They're very well good enough and that's just about it.

Well... I would rather name it "the market standard", rather than "good enough and that´s just about it".

I wonder how many brands would KILL for such a meh product, by the way. :idk

I think it´s the biggest commercial success in live equipment in decades. I might be wrong, though.

Which is pretty much the same. Market standards usually aren't set by high end items. The sort of market standard for furniture would be IKEA rather than Knoll.

Really, being widely used has got nothing to do with great quality, let alone high end.
