Been loving edge mode on channel 2 more and more. Never been much of a “low/mid gain” guy but damn it sounds so good

Sounds great on its own but then kicking on the Timmy model on the HX one is just

It’s funny, I’ve had both the mxr Timmy and the caline knock off in the past and I think I like this model better than both

That caline version is damn good for the money. I still love mine!

It is a very good sounding pedal and sounded pretty much dead on to the mxr

The rest of my rig is also completely different so maybe that’s part of it lol. The caline Englishman I had was really good too

I have a couple of their drive 2 in 1s. The KOT clone, complete with internal dip switches....and the brigadier, which is the Timmy and tube screamer combo....and you can change the order with an actual switch....which is cool.

Had a fuzz once ...but it went wonky on me ...tore apart the innards, and use the enclosure for prototyping pedals.

I don’t need a second mark V (and certainly not in combo form) but absolute crazy price even with non working reverb

Listing says he replaced the tank and it still doesn’t work but wonder if he tried swapping the V4 position tube that drives the reverb?

I ended up getting this lol. I had sent him a message the day it went live and got nothing. All the sudden yesterday he replies saying he was out of town. Met up sort of half way between us and picked it up today. All but reverb is perfect, have my own reverb so I don't care. No way to pass up this amp for $950.

Is the reverb not fixed? I had messaged him that maybe it was the preamp tubes controlling the reverb circuit and a couple days ago he responded that he tried that and it solved the issue but he was still gonna keep it at the same price

I thought he misspoke when he said it was working now... I didn't even test that. He gave me the old tank and a box of tube that he said 1 of them was bad but he didn't know which one. I will check it when I get back home.

Hopefully you have a fully operational unit at a literal steal of the century price!

TY, and yes, it did fix it.. at least all of the Mark's I have played the reverb is nothing special so I was happy to buy it broken for that price!
