If you are truly serious about upgrading they get more money in the long run so I doubt it's a huge issue to them lol

But yeah I'd only reach out if you were for sure going through with it and I'd do it ASAP.

The FM3 is definitely still an amazing unit even with the III out there tho

Hey, thanks! It was just a quick plonking but I really liked how those sounds layered together. Maybe this weekend I’ll build it out with more structure and variation and get some drums and bass behind it too. After all the money I’ve invested in fancy plugin suites like Komplete Ultimate, I really should make more use of them anyway!

It'll be fun when this stuff drips (see what I did there?) down to the FM9, but it's not like the current lineup of reverbs and delays is povertyville or anything. There's no shortage of super spacey soundscape-type stuff.
