Somewhat surprised that this would take so much software engineering effort as to delay 3.8.

They already had two flavors of the PE. Adding a 3rd seems like it would be a one person effort for a sprint or two, mostly data changes and a few references to amp/fx models ported from the shared codebase.

Maybe there was tech debt to payback on #3, the shared code is not so easily reusable, or maybe it was a QA bottleneck.

Maybe short names (they’re max 5 letters) fit much better on the pedal….


But I must say that Badonk sounds waaaaaaaaaaay cooler than Anvil. Anvil sounds like yukkk… anvil… it’s really bad
