When I do finally update it will almost be like New Amp Day with all of the improvements and look at all the time I saved not installing every new update and then making the necessary adjustments.

Thanks. I've never had a big-boy V but the crunch mode on the V:25 was stellar. Maybe we're headed towards having something like that.

I suspect Cliff is, or will be, working on the Yellow Channel. The JP2C+ has the Yellow Channel modeled in the Fractal. So.

My hands are very much not cooperating with me today. It's just cold enough (Florida cold) that my fingers feel frozen and I might turn the heat on. (It's 70 degrees outside )

Meanwhile that's about the temperature inside my apartment. I'd like a bit higher (can't adjust it much, stupid conservative central heating) but it's alright.

This is why I have the hard rule of "Don't install a xx.00 update from Fractal" and usually avoid the betas as well unless there's something I really want to try. Otherwise you spend a good chunk of time updating fw and refreshing Axe-Edit block definitions.

I wish they'd move to a more sensible semantic versioning for next gen though. Atm 24.02 can be a bug fix, or it can be a feature update and you can't tell unless you read the release notes. 24.0.2 for bug fix, 24.1.0 for new features would make more sense.

The silver jubilee in 24.03 is much better now IMO. The old version had a honky / boxy quality that I did not like. The updated version sounds nice.

I feel the fractal models in general are a little boxy

I’ve only just recently tried the pre-updated version.
Kinda like it .
I’m using an FM3 so no updated version here to try out.
Maybe I like honky tones lol.
