I agree but there are those who vehemently disagree and would probably have a conniption if we were to remove the legacy IRs.
Exactly. I only need three IR slots: Mix 01 for York Audio’s Creamback, Recto, and BlackbackHonestly, I could do without all the factory IRs. Give me the option to offload them and use that space for something like the a block library. It's either user IRs or Dynacabs for me.

The thing that’s great about Fractal footswitches is the whole “you can make each individual footswitch do anything you want”
The thing that’s stupid about Fractal footswitches is the “each switch can only do ONE single thing. If you want to do multiple things you have to make the footswitch do one thing and then make that thing do multiple things”
I just can’t wrap my head around doing it that way, so I set up nearly everything as per preset switches with just a few exceptions.
D
Control switches are my jam.I pretty much only use per preset switches for everything.
But say I want to have one switch toggle both a reverb and a chorus. You can’t just set up the switch to do both. Instead you have to set the switch to control a control switch and then set each block to use that control switch for its bypass state.
Yeah I did some programming work for a guy with a Helix Floor, for live gigs. I tried to explain to him that sticking to one or two cabs is best, because making each song (or even song section) sound completely different is jarring and weird, and also can be tough for the sound guy. After DynaCabs came out I stopped using everything else.
But… for the past 3-4 months I haven’t used anything but the g12-65 2x12 from the legacy IRs (factory 2 #175/#178 together). I’ve been enjoying just always sticking with a single cab I don’t have to mess with, or think about, or tweak and choosing amps to go with it.
Yeah, I’d have no problem dumping all my IR’s for more DynaCabs or a Blocks library. At this point I’m only using a couple bass cab IR’s and whatever WEM/Fane IR’s for Gilmour presets, everything else has been replaced with DynaCabs.
Would the idea of swapping/uploading more onboard Dynacabs via FractalBot be a possibility? Or would that create a logistical/support nightmare? Would Mark II/Turbo units have extra memory available for this kind of thing, or was that reserved for FullRes storage?I agree but there are those who vehemently disagree and would probably have a conniption if we were to remove the legacy IRs.

I would literally poop myself. It would be worth it for that aloneIs it not feasible to simply make them a batch download that one has to qualify their ownership of a Fractal Audio product to get the link to? (And since they're .SYX files, it wouldn't do non-Fractal owners any good anyway to pirate them).
I know you had licensing agreements with Redwirez, OH, etc., but perhaps they'd be open to amending it?
In any case, we are screaming in hope of you making the blocks library available on the current gen of devices somehow, some way.

......underwear changer?Would be the ultimate, dare I say it......gamechanger.
