They’re rebooting Superman again?
Rebooting the whole DC cinematic universe because of the previous one's utter failure.
They’re rebooting Superman again?
This. The only DC that will ever not fail is Batman. When done OUTSIDE of the rest of their "universe". Even if there are some bright Superman spots here and there. Super hero movies need to die anyway. They have generally gone that way but somehow won't give up so we can get back to normal storytelling that doesn't rely on being some huge franchise.
I'm expecting James Gunn to be able to make something out of this that is at least decent, and different. Is this a joke? I'm not exactly a Superman fan, but this Superboy trailer makes me want to tell him to put dad's costume back in the closet and to stop fucking around with his things.

We started this a ways back. I liked the first episode or two but it was a little too 'aloof' to pull us in? That plus my extreme LOATHING of Apple TV ("Hey what's included on this "subscription" that we don't have to pay additional money to watch? Oh nothing? Cool cool cool" ) made it very easy to not circle back to. I realize there are other ways and venues to watch it in but I have this weird thing where I want to watch it at the source. Might have to take another look down the roadSeverance is amazing.
Some of the best cinematography I've ever seen. Every shot is .
Wonderful acting and superb script.
And it's batshit crazy to boot

If Sheiky baby was still alive, I'd have him put them in the camel clutch, break their back, and make those jabronis humble.
Same here. I thought it started kinda slow, but Lalo comes in and gives it a good kick in the pants. Loved the ending.I did like this more than Breaking Bad
We just finished Better Call Saul. To me much of it was like a great film, and we kept talking about how much Vince Gilligan was shooting in Michael Mann style, and using similar music too. My wife and I both feel like Mann stopped having heart and soul in his work at a certain point, but Gilligan really took the torch from him. It was incredible.
A lot of the ways it went shocked me, and I thought it was interesting how I couldn't see where stuff ended up. I was also surprised by the quality of the acting for so many of the actors.
I did like this more than Breaking Bad, because the characters were just better overall, more finely drawn, more character and personality. They felt more real. Breaking Bad was great, but many of the women's characters were less dimensional than the men, and it was like half the characters' potential was wasted. I felt like that was not the case in Better Call Saul. Here you had a greater sense of everyone in the show, and there was just more characterization in a great way. It meant that when something happened, it had greater impact.
Very cool, and I'm glad I saw it.
