Too damn cool!
I saw the previous Homeschoolin where Tom was talking about Mark sending him vids for his kid but hadn’t seen this one yet. I got nervous at first because I’ve got the song pretty much under my fingers at this point and if I found out I were playing it wrong I’d be pissed.
Had to pause on that because the whole Echo thing, but that’s ok, it’s marinating in my head so the next time I go to sing/play it it should be cemented a bit more.
I was wondering how he was playing that lead lick he shows last; there’s a couple spots in the song I have to change positions while hitting/holding a note and that’s one of them. I literally figured it out how to play it by shoving my fingers down and listening for how it sounds on the album/in my head and waiting for my fingers to figure it out. He has a lot more fret hand movement than I do for that.
Occasionally I don’t mute properly and when changing positions the wrong note rings out-
(I actually sing ‘wheedle dee do dit deedle de dee’ in my head as I play it)
Also, note the Mark Morton signature on the headstock of that LP. Pretty sharp lookin’, but I hope the dude gets a sig Custom!

Couple of episodes in. Little too young adult focused but it's pretty solid so far? Interested to see how it shakes out here after a few more episodes.

Just watched CARRY-ON on Netflix.....more twists and turns than a cheap garden hose......great movie!

Watched it the other night. Kind of a Die Hard-ish holiday/non-holiday film. Not bad. I’m glad Bateman is doing more non-comedic roles. He actually pulled off a good villain in this one.

Yeah, I think Bateman's a pretty good actor...did you see Ozark? Thought that was a pretty good series.....other than kind of dragging on towards the end.

I thought he was excellent in Ozark. I actually avoided that show for a long time because I assumed it leaned more towards a comedy because Bateman was a lead actor. I’m glad I checked it out because I really enjoyed that series.

Other than being so hideously dark that my OLED TV thinks it's static content so tries to avoid burn-in by dimming the screen, Ozark was great. It could have used maybe at least one less season, but I did like a lot of it.
After mostly being used to seeing Bateman in Arrested Development, I couldn't help but watching Ozark at first as "Michael Bluth changes his name and moves to the Ozarks after commiting some light treason", but he did grow into the role.

Lol, yep, thinking back it was kind of a dark show...had to shut the lamp off in the room to keep it from reflecting off the dark screen........

I read something about spinoffs. I do think that it ended on a good note where I could avoid said spinoffs without feeling like I am "missing out"
I will say the drama between her and Jamie ended as it should as well. No less dramatic than it has been but a closed chapter if nothing else.

Anyone scope the new Dexter yet? Don't currently have paramount + and dont feel like starting a new sub again. I suppose I should probably wait a month or two so I can binge to some degree
