What are we watching now?

We're talking about that rapper with the cap cut, right? He did a great job. Despite the HUMONGOUS chance of me probably not liking his music

Precisely why I have a living room rig. :ROFLMAO:

If I’m not in my studio or playing a video game, I rarely have the TV on without a guitar in my hands. It’s where 90% of my original stuff comes from, I just record a quick video of it then when I get in my studio later I sort through the clips to find something I want to work on.

The downside of that is that I often end up watching a lot of shows twice because I might be more focused on my guitar than the TV.

Nice! I miss doing that. Used to do it all the time in my teens and early twenties.
Many mindless noodles were made. ;)

So, earlier this week I set up my Vibrolux in the living room so I can practice my
old man clean tones. If I get brave I am going to toss a small board in front of it.

Right now it is just Fender on Fender crime as I whipped a Strat out and am going
straight in. I like the change of pace from what I would do elsewhere. For now.

I really liked Drive, but was really surprised with Baby Driver (Kevin Spacey notwithstanding).
Ah man I loved it! I looked around for it last night because I wanted to watch it again. I can see coming off Blade Runner how it might be underwhelming on a grand scale though. I am a sucker for crime films.

A Tchula and a delay in front of that would be perfect!!

Awesome indeed. I particularly enjoyed that one because while it showed the darker side of humans, it also showed the greater side with all the people working together to figure it out and not resting until they did.
Yes!! The crowdsourced detective work was really cool. What I kept wondering, though, is do any of those people have jobs!? They spent hours daily tracking that guy and doing all their detective work. They even put JT's internet usage to shame!! (love you JT! ;))

Especially since this was before everyone was working from home. But hell, I’m surprised at how much time I spend on the internet during the work day while I actually get sh*t done. I generally get 10-15 minutes in my office at a time before I’m back out on the property inside tenant spaces or on a roof, so I fire off what I can while I’m drenched in sweat. It’s just now starting to drop into the 70’s down here!

Been on a reading kick for like two months, read maybe 4 different sci-fi/fantasy series in that time.

Got a little burned and started looking around for something to watch.

Ended up on Banshee. This is supremely violent and I dig the characters. 8-9 episodes in, I’ll finish it before I head back to the books.

Is this your first run on Banshee? It's RIDICULOUS (and that last season will test your limits on suspension of disbelief) but it's one of my favorite shows.

Oh man - we loved Banshee so much. Lots of fighting / violence. Fun characters. hi Jobe! Pretty people (and kickass gorgeous girls). I watched it all once. Then introduced it to my wife and was surprised that she loved it as well, so I watched it all a second time.

I may have to go back and watch it a third time. I was so disappointed when it was over. I want more!

I was glad to see Anthony Starr (sure; that's not a stage name) get picked up into something popular. He does good in whatever he's in and I am glad he has gone beyond Banshee. That show was absolutely what you think of when you think of the modified name for Cinemax :rofl It was so good beyond the obvious "this "airs" after 9PM on pay cable" standards.
