The last season of House of Cards is kinda meh. Spacey was going through all that legal shit, and it was kind of sloppy how they wrote him out. Still a good show though.

My 22 year old nephew is staying with me this weekend, he’s never seen any alien movies so I think I’m gonna make him have a marathon with me then take him to Romulus

HUGE gripe with Alien:
Your ship mate wanders around an alien vessel and gets attacked by an organism which attaches itself to his face,
bleeds acid, and sticks its 18" dick down his throat. Days pass.....
Organism detaches itself and dies.
"WE MUST KEEP KANE IN ISOLATION AND RUN TESTS TO MAKE SURE HE'S NOT INFECTED IN ANY WAY!!!"

Hey, did you guys know that Ridley Scott didn't tell the cast about the sprays of blood
going everywhere when the Alien busted out of Kane's chest? It wasn't used during rehearsals.
The reactions by the cast as they gets splattered are 100% legit - no acting.

Finished this up. YT'r had almost no appreciation for 90s Testament which is dumb as fuck. As well as claiming Souls of Black was their best album which is asinine. It was a good watch nonetheless.Watching the Metal School episode for Testament. This fucking band is so goddamned good

Was on an intentional information blackout so actually was very surprised that this was a sequel and not a prequel
I’m still slightly unclear on timeline - did this take place after alien 3 or in between alien and aliens?
But yeah cool film and the first time I’ve been to a movie theater in maybe a decade? When did theaters get so fancy? Fully reclined footrest haptic feedback comfy material for $10 ? Full service bar? Why haven’t I been going to theaters lol I used to go to this theater all my child hood and it was never like this back then
Aesthetic/vibe/pacing much closer to the OG alien films than the prequels. But since I watched covenant this morning a bit disappointed that I don’t get to find out what happens with David and company

Watching The Killer (John Woo).
Nothing turns me off from an action film more than a character, who is supposed to be an expert marksman, flinches every time the pull the trigger.
If you’re casted and you decide to play that part, do your fucking due diligence and learn how to shoot with your eyes open and without flinching. That, or don’t use blanks and use CGI.
