Well the second time with the QC wasn’t much better. Cool unit for some obviously but not for me. I packed it back up to give back to my friend so he can sell it. That said I found the best direct tone I’ve ever gotten. I’ll post what that it is when I get the board set up if anyone is interested.

Is there any news? I'm releasing a video tomorrow where I compare my EVH to a couple of capture devices. I don't expect it to be as "controversial" as this one but they certainly don't all sound... accurate

its fender so for the life of me in 4 yrs that the tmp has been worked on, they couldnt release it with a crapload of unique classic fender amps in it? I was flamed on the other forum and then banned for suggesting a) $1000 pricepoint and b) why not just make it a fender unit with like tweeds and blk faces etc from classic times? I mean i look at the cybertwin where they promised alot and dropped it and then the mustang and now the gtx100 track records and they are pretty poor. They even said they plan to release updated every 6 months. I just read that helix is now 13 yrs old and the same hardware is being used with a ton of software expansions still happening and this is impressive for sure and dedication. Fractal updates pretty often and usually its pretty massive updates but tends to release new hardware sooner the line 6 which is cool too. I DONT trust fenders dedication to this and their "gtx100" like amp roster.

Huge omission IMO. That thing should have been chock-full of Fender models from the day of release. Especially for its price point.

i am not gonna wait for them to"add" them in a year or 2 for 1700.00 sorry....others who tout the " buy it for what it is now" line can drop 1700 and be content now i guess but not me. Look at what fractal or even qc/ line6 offer at that pricepoint. I mean fractal NOW has more fender models in it the the tmp...? whats wrong with this picture. And the amps in the tmp read like the gtx100 amp almost exactly which is wierd for a "new " gen product with the TONEMASTER name.

Yeah, or at least as many as are in the FM9. When your competitor has more of your amps in their unit than you do in yours, well, that’s kinda embarrassing.
