Randall Smith Gone From Mesa Boogie/Gibson?

Yeah, but...., Is that selling out?? :rofl :rofl

seen it confirmed from a few (reliable) people.

Also saw a quote from Fluff where it sounds like Randall was fired but Gibson said he left on his own accord. Enough smoke coming out for it to be an ugly situation.

All the info here is just repeating speculation online

Someone being forced out of a company they founded and built is nothing new.

I hope he burns the place down. :rofl

100% if it comes out that they fired him as they had 51% , screw Gibson and their overpriced crap , I would never entertain buying one and I hope some of the other Big boys, like EVH, Marshall , EBMM , PRS boycott and ignore them at NAMM

if he made the deal because he wanted out then that's one thing, I guess we will see

Gibson will always be an iconic brand. But man, I am not sorry even a little for
selling my last 3 Gibsons last Summer. I just can't fund that giant legacy turd
of a Corporation with any of my funds any longer.

The only "proof" that's been offered to me when I've asked is a tweet or a post from a fucking YouTuber.

We're in peak 'trust me, bro' times.
I don't have a horse in this race, but always loved the story, and grew to appreciate Randal and his work and ethos.

From my best estimation and conjecture, this sale happened almost 5 years ago, and this was planned...but maybe a little early for the benefit of both sides.... whatever that means.

If there’s anything I’ve learned from forums and social media it’s that everyone will immediately jump on board and believe anything negative about something they already don’t like.

It’s confirmation bias.
