Mooer GS1000li profiler

Do you mean the differences between USB powered & non bus powered? I don't have any. I just saw on most of the pro-audio units tech specs. I'm working as a brand manager for a pro-audio distribution company in Hungary, so I have to deal with a lot of deep tech specs from factories for several audio gear.

Like you need other people to come up with cons

Hrrhrr - but in fact, I'm quite serious. For me, cons are even more important than pros.

I mean…getting a Mooer in your mailbox is not exactly the kind of money worth alienating viewers…maybe that’s just me being naive

Ok, look at it that way: You spend one working day with the unit (absolutely sufficient for all the videos I've seen so far) and then sell it for 400-450. That's a pretty decent salary, don't you think?

Like what kinda units? Seriously, I've never experienced a lack in dynamics on, say, bus powered interfaces. Even some rather high end units (such as some from RME) are bus powered.

Only if you can do it every day or a few times a week every week, which IMO is not happening. I dont think anyone is getting rich off guitar gear reviews if that is all they do.

That's like saying you make $500 per gig is good money, which it is if gig every night or 3x a week.

For example on Focusrite interfaces there's dynamic range differences between bus powered & non bus powered units.

If you can do that everyday…AND keep a channel running. But of people think you’re full of S…end of channel…end of money making..end of getting units send. So keeping your viewers has a much higher value.

And tbh…personally I look at them as demos…opinions from YT…not sure I even value those. Nothing I can’t hear myself, or find in a manual. Can’t think of one YT that has the same priorities as me tbh. It’s just a quick/fun product overview to me.

I really depends upon the unit and the USB implementation. I don't doubt the Focusrite, epsecially older models are problematic.

However, USB-C Power Delivery generally allows up to 100 W of power to be transmitted at voltages up to 20 V and currents up to 5 A.

I believe that they've recently increased the USB-C protocl spec to 240 watts.

Tbh…I got one in use as such…mostly cause the battery is fed by 12V…and that means I have 2 12v supplies with me at all time..which mitigates the 12V for the QC being a single point of failure. Its on the satelite board with the expression pedals. Last time I used the battery feeding another satellite with 2 pedals…it stopped half set;)

And once you keep AC at all time..the battery is dead weight. Getting through power outs..tbh…never happens..and when it does…the rest of the band is gone anyway…dead stop regardless ;)

I have those same Crocs in the same color.

Mine are dark blue.
I see a "show your Crocs" thread coming up...
