Mooer GS1000li profiler

TLDR: If you get stuff for free or if you are good friends with the makers, it's getting tougher to say negative things.
Yeah, that's some groundbreaking news. And thanks for trying to waste my time.
Hw is the biggest shill online. Shows off all his expensive gear he gets free : then makes patches people buy and funds him getting even more highend gear. What a raquet

I have never understood the hate for YouTube content providers. I actually don't mind a few of the guys that continually get hate from different forums. I have purchased HW's Kemper profiles for the Dirty Shirley amp. They are very good and I use them. To me it is pretty simple. If you don't like a content provider don't watch them. Why get angry at someone that took the time to build up relationships with companies and is able to get product to make videos about. It is a win win for them. If you can do this, start a YouTube channel and start doing reviews and build the relationships and you can get access to the gear too. They put in a ton of work to do those videos, which most people don't seem to understand. If you take what they may make for doing it and divide it out to a per hour number, most of us wouldn't agree to do it for that low of a return.

I can afford to buy all my stuff and dont need to pimp out to get it
One more aside. Assuming you still work and aren't retired. Don't you pimp yourself out to
your job to be able to afford cars, acoustic guitars and hot tubs?

This may be their job. Who are you to judge who does what and how for a living?

Our man never disappointing!

Not particularly blown away by the tones thou, and i know Leon can dial these devices...

I agree, but IMO this is the direction capturing is going, bringing pricing down with smaller/less accurate captures. Eventually, you will be able to capture with a $100 device that will compete with QC. It may take a while, but its going in that direction.

Yeah I’m sorry for those comments. I guess they’re just doing their job. They all sound like used car salesman to me. That’s my point I guess.

The feature set on this thing is very similar to the Hotone Ampero 2. They are different companies, but what people can expect going forward is that a lot of modelers will kind of converge into a similar thing: compact, 3-4 footswitches, 4-6" touchscreen, hopefully a few knobs.

I'm already out for anything that doesn't have any knobs on it. That tactile control truly makes a big difference, and is a big reason why computer editors suck too - no sensible way to have physical knobs you can grab and turn like you can on an amp or pedal.

Built in battery is a cool feature, but getting it replaced could be an issue for long term ownership, especially with a brand like Mooer.

I'd love to instead see the ability to power via USB-C using a powerbank, because then you can jury-rig your favorite powerbank solution to it. I already do this sort of thing on the Luminite M1, can do it with CIOKS 4 Expander etc. Second USB-C port just for power could be cool too.
It's user replaceble. A couple screws and lifts right out.
