I liked a few songs from Mindcrime but they took a step back from Rage for Order in the originality department and I just couldn't get into the lighter stuff. I know it was a sign of the times but Rage just resonated with me a whole lot more than the next two albums. I kind of gave up on them and never listened to Promised Land until last year. It's really great though. For those of us in HS when they came out the EP -Mind crime was the best. Current band is trying to fit into the modern metal category does not float my boat at all. Evident by he absence of Degarmo riffs found on Mindcrime and the like
