PH-3 better, with those epic rise/fall/step modes.Boss PH-2?
Can one of the 100 lb brain guys tell me if they envision some solution in the future that will go past snapshots, scenes, channels?
Yes.
Snapshots is accessed via pressing the two Bank switch simultaneously right?I wonder what kind of solution that might be. Snapshots are already pretty powerful to me.
In my Helix LT I only need to press "mode" to go to snapshots. Yes, there's a setting to choose Snapshots instead of presets or stomps.Snapshots is accessed via pressing the two Bank switch simultaneously right?
Is there a way to have a mode where the 8?10? switches access your snapshots? Seems like you could only go between presets and stomps. Sorry newb to Helix. Had one for a couple days and returned it (only because of size). If they release something smaller than a Floor and bigger than an XL, I'll be interested.
Much more than I would like. How often do you all rotate the scroll wheel on your mouse to scroll down in the parameter window, only to accidental change one of the parameters?

This is the Achilles heel of HX Edit/Native, IMO. That and the existence of sliders, period. How often do you all rotate the scroll wheel on your mouse to scroll down in the parameter window, only to accidental change one of the parameters?

You know what would be a great solution for that, I'm not saying it starts with a K and ends with an S, with NOB in the middle, but it totally could be that. How often do you all rotate the scroll wheel on your mouse to scroll down in the parameter window, only to accidental change one of the parameters?

Like, uhm - always?
Happens to me constantly. A fix would be to make the “hot spot” strictly on the “knob” of the sliders. This is the Achilles heel of HX Edit/Native, IMO. That and the existence of sliders, period.
Or better, if you click on the slider.Happens to me constantly. A fix would be to make the “hot spot” strictly on the “knob” of the sliders.
I registered on TGF just to echo that. I love the sounds I can get from HX Native, but using it on a 13” Macbook with a touchpad can be a very frustrating experience if you swipe up and down. Your idea of clicking a parameter and making it active would solve a lot of my gripes. It doesn’t need to be the standard behavior. Line6 could add it as an option.Or better, if you click on the slider.
My suggestion was more of, unless the mouse pointer isn’t hovering over the slider knob, scrolling wouldn’t affect the parameter.Your idea of clicking a parameter and making it active would solve a lot of my gripes. It doesn’t need to be the standard behavior. Line6 could add it as an option.

@Digital Igloo is this technically possible? It's a common UX issue, it seems.I registered on TGF just to echo that. The problem with that approach is that you would need to follow the slider knob as you increase/decrease its value. Not very convenient. My suggestion was more of, unless the mouse pointer isn’t hovering over the slider knob, scrolling wouldn’t affect the parameter.
Your thoughts @Digital Igloo?
