Yes, it always struck me as odd they modeled the 2204 but not the 2203.

Same, that's why I bumped the "Wish: Marshall JMP 100w" thread over there.
The 2204 models were all over the place but the 2203 was much more consistent up to 1985 where they started to cut costs with the horizontal version.

I think the 2203 is different enough to call for a separate model.
Aside from the different negative feedback amount which affects the sound at any volume the PT and OT are also very different, we should hear a clear difference between 50W vs 100W when the power amps are driven, I trust Fractal to capture these nuances.
