Correct. I'm after a switch mode that lets me trigger MIDI sends as complex as the MIDI block allows on scene changes.

That would bridge a big part of the gap between the FC units and the MIDI floorboards. That is going to be a solid addition.

To be clear: this is my wish. It is not a planned feature that I know of.
It makes a Fractal device and it's switches (either built-in, or via FCs) the brains of an complex rig. Negates the need to go to (truly amazing, but just one more thing to deal with) RJM MasterMind controllers for a LOT of situations.

PCs and CCs to an assignable switch would open up a lot of potential for people who utilize external effects, and the ability to assign an expression pedal as a continuous controller would be the icing on the cake.

An “official” tablet editor would be SO nice, but Apple makes developers suck a roomful of dicks before they’ll green light any iOS apps.

Honestly once you pass the Apple Store "submit app" process once, the subsequent ones tend to be easier and faster. The real problem is having to maintain that app forever to keep it compatible.

Inevitably FAS is going to have to put the time and effort into the UI, and a tablet editor seems like the perfect bridge gap between generations of hardware. Plus a tablet version of Edit could give them some feedback on a potential touchscreen implementation down the line. And tbh, a USB/BT tablet editor might even eliminate the need for an on-device TS implementation at all. They could probably refine the existing control mechanisms and lean on the tablet editor for those that are wanting touch controls. Seems like a win-win.
