Fractal Talk

I'd be shocked to my very core if there was @yek-produced content that wasn't acturately reflected and up-to-date on the wiki. He is pretty much the lone maintainer for the wiki.
it was that, plus the fact that I would have bet a vital organ that there was a more recent version, that left me so confused

PLEASE READ IMPORTANT

this is why you don't want me touching the wiki. I am a moron.

it's the drive guide that was (a) updated more recently and (b) has the info about using a drive model as an amp

Edit: @yek, is there a more recent version of the amp guide? I thought there was, as there are posts from 2019 and 2020 saying it was in work.

I "retired" the PDF version of the DRIVE Guide earlier this year. But before doing that, I migrated ALL its information to the Drive page in the wiki. Easier to maintain. So visit the wiki, it's up-to-date. Already made entries for the 3 new drives and info will be added.

Regarding updating the AMP guide: that's such a major undertaking. I have parts (and ideas) on the shelf, but real work responsibilities keep getting in the way. I'll get to it eventually, probably, maybe.

Just wanted to say thank you for all your work on the wiki. It has been incredibly helpful to me since I got my FM9.

Watched Brett's demo, very nice, I was surprised I really liked the the Fender 6G4 Brown Face with Nobels ODR-1 & The Gauss Drive (y)

if you’re into officially licensed resistive loaded tones, don’t miss out on this (vague modelling information and questionable customer support included at no extra charge):
