The difference is you don’t have heavy handed mods
Bans , Citations and warnings issued because someone does not like something that was said , it’s a safe space and also we don’t have a lot of trolls or people getting threads locked deliberately

Correction. 129 pages and we know:

• It has firmware
• It doesn't "replace" a current Fractal product
• It has presets
• It has chorus and delay effects
• Some units are in people's hands (for developing presets and/or testing)

It pretty likely, but not guaranteed:

• to live on the floor and/or pedalboard
• to have amp (modeling)
• hopefully to be launched "soon ... perhaps later this month" which I assume would be October

It's likely, but speculative at best

• to be smaller than current fractal devices (guess from the Andy Wood video)
• to have more than effects (that is have amps), but based upon statements from Fractal about the FX8
• to use newer SHARC chips
• It's not any type of waffle

Oh, sorry. My mistake. They can of course fit on a pedalboard. All the non-Fractal Faithful would be lining up to get an FM9 size fx unit to add to their existing pedalboard.

My take away is that it is probably an effects only unit for use with tube amplifiers akin to the old FX8.

Weird he says “ and I am an amp guy” because effects aren’t in amps anyhow…. So it must have amp models and effects in it

Yep. I agree. Fractals "version" of the Line 6 HXFX but without the FSW and [obviously] with a full-Midi spec - the fact that he adds something along the lines that he's always been an Amp guy.

Lock it in - Multi-efx unit for the win :)

I don't think Andy gave very much away.

It's from Fractal. It has chorus and delay. It's on the floor. He likes amps.

That's it.

Amp guys use effects though so saying it sounds good and he is an amp guy tells me it also has amp models on it

It seems he has a pedal board that has more than just the new fractal device - so to me it would indicate he’s an amp + pedals guy - so I took it as “no amp modeling here” - using a real amp with a pedal board

It’s the way he says it. Like: look at this stuff, its awesome, and im an amp guy…

It implies that he prefers to use real amps, but the gadgets on the floor sounds really good.
