There's a tiny amp thread here. ... but no big, dumbass amp thread here? Why?

I feel this needs to be rectified (wait for it! ) as quickly as possible.

Have any big, dumb amps to share? Maybe anything over 30 watts is a
big, dumb amp these days? Not sure what the weight limit is. You can't
throw down with the Heavyweights unless you meet the weight limitation.
100Lbs? 40 kilos?You need to hurt us when we move you, or you are not
a big, dumb amp.



Pretty sure this qualifies as a big, dumb amp.

Maybe the biggest and dumbest amp I have ever purchased. Yes. It is mine now.

Dude I bought it from was a total gent. Very proper and buttoned up. Could tell
he took great care of the amp. FS and Slipcover included. Also, a set of tubes. He
met me half-way, and came down on his price even more than listed to get me
to take the leap. Kind of insane that he sold it so cheap. Told me GC offered $450
for it.

I have to give an assist to @TSJMajesty for this one. Not an hockey assist either.
More like an Half-Court Alley Oop assist that I could not help but throw down. Truth is
this big, dumb amp was not even on my radar until he brought it to my attention. Thanks,

I really, really love it, though. Hoping to get into a band situation in New England where this is my main amp/general tone. I spend more time noodling around with tones like this than I do metal stuff.

I have a 6505 and ultra plus both are 120w. Playing my 5153 50w tonight into 2 4x12s.

Not as kewl as you dudes....but this is 120 watts over 50lbs heavy as hell......tbh I used to carry this is one hand, 2 by 12 in another with my guitar on my back into practice........I was younger then .

It looks way better in person, Tom. First thing I noticed when he pulled the slip cover
off of it. Very tight and clean. He drive a nice truck, was dressed to the nines, and so
I knew the amp would be well taken care of.
