To me there's only a couple of products that
might get released this year. All the following is pure speculation.
- Boss "GX-1000".
- It seems like an obvious product. A further evolved GX-100 UI paired with upgraded GT-1000 capabilities.
- Fractal "VA4" amp/cab sim.
- The inclusion of SPDIF I/O on the VP4 and some comments from Fractal point to another product with that form factor. I can't think of what else it could be but an amp/cab sim.
- Hotone "Ampero 3".
- I feel like they've stretched the Ampero 2 platform as far as it goes, unless they can optimize and expand the capture capabilities to go against the Mooer GS-1000, and upgrade more amps and fx to "HQ" models.
- For their business model new hardware seems more sensible.
- BluGuitar Amp X.
- Blug has said they'll show it off again later this year, at Guitar Summit held the end of September.
- I think NAMM 2026 is a more likely release date though.
