Real guitar amps and cabs, rather than digital versions of them. What is a real world rig?
A couple of weeks before I posted this, I'd seen an incredible Sabbath tribute band whose guitarist's tone was perfect throughout. I noticed from a distance that he was running a Marshall head and cab; didn't think to check what, exactly. Well, I caught them again on Saturday night, and thought I ought to find out... What do you know? It was a JCM2000. :) These things are like $750 or $800 used. Seems like quite a bargain. What am I missing?I'm surprised to hear that I like the DSL pedal as much as I do. I never even considered looking at JCM2000's. Looks like they're relatively inexpensive on the used market. That's another rabbit hole I'll have to go down, I guess.

P.S./ PSA: If you're anywhere near CT, keep an eye out for this band, "Sabotage". No shit, these two shows sounded better than any actual Black Sabbath concert I've ever seen.![]()
They're awesome, but you know, they kinda sound like shit. Which is barely even relevant.I still want to see Mac Sabbath![]()
