What's the next Helix Stadium SKU you'd like to be released next?

What do you want next?

What would be the goal with HX FX Stadium? With the aircraft carrier footprint of OG Helix I get why folks needed a thing that was bigger than a Stomp, but smaller than a Helix for effects use. I'm not sure why you'd need that with these new form factors.

I belive HX FX came before stomp and had its place feature and price wise.

After stomp xl came out, maybe, that product made less sense.

What would be the goal of HX FX stadium?

Access to showcase (and whatever they'll add, like a nice looper) and the increased power/routing flexibility at a lower price point, with a unit made basically for those who play live with hybrid rigs.

Maybe that's just me be but I see a market for that and I don't even own an HX FX.

Showcase would make sense to be exclusive to higher end units, to justify the price.
Interestingly enough, the cost of adding Showcase is purely development. Okay, we might've included a slightly smaller/cheaper microSD card if there were no tracks to store, but that's pennies per unit.
But but but Ben Adrian says the most exciting thing is the new Augora(not-phobia) amp modeling because they'd always wanted to do more scientifically accurate things with their modeling. This despite alllllllllllll of the assertions that nobody could pick Helix from amp in properly controlled blind tests. This time they're REALLY measuring and modeling individual components...

I can't tell if its more or less exhausting hearing all that again (remember every video of Helix talking about how they modeled the light bulb in the univibe?) now that I'm pretty certain DI hasn't been lying about the blind test results all these years...
I'll tell you what I told Campeador over at The Other Place©:

"A sound someone believes is accurate is most often nowhere close to empirically accurate. Accuracy can be measured; one's perception of accuracy cannot. Also, best sound /= highest accuracy and vice versa."
And later:
"Ten years ago, I'd wax poetic. It's a very different market these days (red ocean shark eyes on us this week) and we're erring on the side of obfuscation. Plus, I'm nowhere near as knowledgeable as Ben, Sam, or Brandon, and there's quite a bit of psychology, perception, audiology vs. tactile learning, and the art of listening involved, none of which concerns itself with passing null tests.

Yes, some HX models (not all, not most, some) are so close to the real thing, listeners can't tell when switching between it and the real thing takes place, mid playing. Yes, it's difficult to improve upon an audibly imperceptible delta (except for ensuring all models can boast the same, something we've never claimed).

Or CAN you improve upon it? What other intangibles, especially when dealing with tactile learning, perception, and feel, can be improved upon?

A/B/X listening and null tests only get you so far, unless the only thing you care about is accuracy.

Quite honestly, one of the many things I don’t care about these days is objective accuracy.
