What's the next Helix Stadium SKU you'd like to be released next?

Am I out of line thinking that we don't really need a new Native? Wouldn't it just be adding the new models within the existing plugin? So releasing an update just like they do following every firmware update for the Helix. I'm not saying it's like super easy, just that it's a VST that they already port their algos to.

Good point. Maybe a re-skin to match Stadium look? (Unless the UX will be updated on the new editor, then I would expect an update to Native as well)

The UI must be heavily changed, the new Agoura engine must be ported, Proxy will be added eventually (player block, not profiling), and keeping compatibility with Stadium and non Stadium devices would be a nightmare.

With these things in mind, a new Native is the right choice. Native for current Helix devices and Stadium Native for the new generation.

One of the strengths of HXN is that it's somewhat fully compatible with the hardware. Adding these new models to the existing plugin would break compatibility with older hardware - and at the same time, several new features possibly couldn't be implemented as the old plugin's internal structure might not be able to suit them.
IMO it defenitely needs a completely new plugin.

The screen will hardly be the same size as the Floor units. I guess it will be bigger than current Stomp, but not 8", or the footprint will not be as well received.

Yeah I’d say either the Stomp or native fits the bill with me.

Do you really think there's that much loss coming along with running it into your interface the analog way? I was usually even doing so when I had an interface with SPDIF (my current Motu M2 doesn't have one) because I didn't want to deal with digital clocks and what not and because it was the most comfortable routing, never really noticed any inferior sound. And in case I wanted the most pristine DI takes, I would just use the Floor/Stomp as an interface temporarily.
Maybe my ears simply aren't well tuned enough, but it never bothered me much (if at all).

Absolutely wouldn't mind a new native plugin. While the Helix Native is still great, it is a bit dated - especially in the UI/UX department.
And obviously the Stomp Stadium with a decently sized touchscreen and 3+x switches. Just take my money Line6

A powered Helix Stadium head with floor control would be awesome - but I'll probably be a late bloomer anyway, since I'm still very happy about the Helix Floor I bought in late 2023, so I have no need to rush this.

What I'd actually love is a combo fullrange amp with all the bells and whistles of an upcoming Stomp iteration built in. Possibly with a tilt-able screen/encoder "tablet" for easy operation (see that Lava thingy... even if it's a stupid tool otherwise). And with a (wireless?) controller fitting in the back during transport, so all you'd have to carry is that single amp.
But that'd likely attract way too little folks to be a viable business model.
