What is your favorite booster ?

I use my RAT as a boost. Set very low. I used to run a tube screamer into the RAT. I have lost the tube screamer, so....

Not all of them.

BTW, there's this little knob labeled "gain" or "overdrive" etc that you can turn the clipping off (OD / Dist) and just turn up the volume knob...

...to use as a boost. Old trick, really.

For example, I didn't list my Friedman BEODD, because I use that exclusively as a distortion/preamp.

I stack them exactly in the order I listed them... for teh BRUTLES.

Get a decent power supply instead. Will possibly even cost you less than a GC guy getting a solder gun heated up.

The Colorsound side of the pedal can be set as Boost (no/low Gain). It just has a Pharaoh Fuzz as well.

You can get adapter cables pretty much everywhere, some power supplies come with them. Look for 3.5mm TS plugs as the target size and either a direct 5mm (outer size) / 2.1mm (inner size) barrel plug or one with a cable socket. Something like this (sorry for the german link):

unironically this. dial amp to be way too much gain and way too bright, then use guitar volume and tone to bring it down to "normal" tone. then gain boost and treble boost is always there waiting for free
