What is your favorite booster ?

It's €209 over here. Which I think is quite a lot for a single function pedal.
Yeah, with the available options these days it's a little high. It is a unique pedal though, and there are probably some good deals for used ones.

Not really a clean boost pedal, but I tried many pedals before deciding on this: the humble SD-1. I use a combination of my overdriven amp and guitar's volume knob to manipulate gain. The pedal is on for like 25% of a song.

I admit that I use some overdrive from the pedal usually, but at times I have dimed the level knob while setting the drive at zero. It sounded good on those occasions also.

I have two favourites, each for a different flavour of boost to a Mesa. I've used this pair for ten years now:

I've learned to love the Klon using the helix model and now my favorite boost is the Wampler Tumnus.

In the past I've been a big fan (and sill am) of the Fulltone Ocd, Fulltone fat boost, mxr cae boost.

Why. Most multi pedals are digital these days and the last thing you want in front good tube amp is a DAC .

I'm not talking about MFX pedals, just about the Giggity being a pedal with just one function switchable, rather than, say, drive and boost being available separately.
And while I might be spoiled, 200 bucks are quite some dough for such a pedal.

So which one is your favorite?

Ah I missed the title of the thread.

Technically all of them, since I do so many different tones. Buuuuuutttt....

One amp+boost combo of note (due to its surprising simplicity) however is the MXR 6 Band EQ into my '68 plexi Marshall circuit.

Roughly speaking, set the EQ for mid boost and you've got super crunch and pinch harmonics for days.

I can use this for a lot of things... and it's an EQ, so it's flexible. So I suppose I'd go with MXR 6 Band EQ.

The Naga Viper gets me that slightly honky mids thing Iommi had in the 80's.

ProCo RAT 2 into ADA MP-1 is Nuno,

BYOC Yellow Overdrive (BOSS OD-1 clone) is Jake E. Lee.

BadgerFX 1011 is a clone of the AIWA 1011 tape machine (only the preamp) Ritchie Blackmore used in Rainbow.

etc...

JHS clover cause it's got just the right type of grit, so unhinged u could probably drive a 4x12 without a power amp with it, the fixed mids are right up the crack of where they should live at 1.3k, and bass shelf right on the edge of violence at 270. clover into any modeler is a total cure all imo

Did you just post all your dirt pedals and declared them to be boosters?
