What are we watching now?

Watched episode 9 of "House of the Dragon" tonight....
What a killer ending....can't believe there is only 1 episode left in the season.

Rings of Power was ok but dwarves and elves is no comparison to Kings and Dragons....I don't care how much money Besos throws at it...Still I have enjoyed both. Only one has had me yelling "fuck yeah" at the TV though. Lol

The dance of the dragons is about to begin...

Agree but the last 2 seasons were what the f^^c444k ?????

Yeah, I started watching Hannibal and I want to say I got 3-4 seasons in but I just lost interest at some point. I can’t even remember where. I loved it at the start, great acting overall and I loved the colors/look of the show. Life stuff may have taken precedent at the time, I really can’t remember.

@JiveTurkey not sure if you saw the most recent Handmaid‘s Tale but Ho-lee sheeeeet. That was the best episode since the first couple seasons. It’s like they purposefully said “Let’s take all these good bits you wrote into the first 4 episodes and pack them into the 5th one.” I put it on thinking I was going to nap through it but I ended up sitting straight up with my eyes wide open.

My wife keeps reminding me we need to get back on it. I will put it back on the queue. We are watching Evil. Benign little series that was good for a few runs that we are also sort struggling to get motivated on. Similar but less "oh my god just finish it already" sort of vibe.

Finished up Dahmer over the weekend. The first section was rough. Necessary, but rough. 2nd half was really good. Some great performances.

We watched The Last Movie Star last night. Burt Reynolds plays a movie star from decades ago on his last sort of hurrah. Sad AF and was a great performance that blended his own acting history in quite nicely. Main sister character was annoying af but once you got past her performance; the rest of it was great. Definitely rated on the onion sandwich scale :bag

OMG, I just watched RV last night with Robin Williams, and I swear I haven't laughed so hard in years!! It felt good. The scene where he's got the RV stuck...., it's like you could see his thought process on his face. Utterly hilarious!!
Edit- It was just that scene that had me laughing so hard my stomach hurt, literally. The rest of the movie was kinda cheesy, but certain eye-candy made up for it. (No, not his teenage daughter! Lol)

Halloween Ends: 100 What in the f**k are you doing Danny McBride and David Gordon Greens?/10. You had one job to do and you didn't do it. Ugh.

That sucks. I’ll pass on it now. I thought the first one they did a couple years ago was ok. Last years was terrible, but I held out hope they could redeem themselves to wrap it up.

There are some good bit(bits? if you are being generous?). You really can't win with this franchise; no matter what you try. The 2018 flick was very solid imo. Other than the Dr. character and storyline. Kills was ATROCIOUS. This one is going to be one of those people yap about either loving or hating for years. This franchise seems to always go that way.

Netflix has their own formula for series: "Would you like to watch quirky people bake cakes, or hear every last detail about everyone who ever considered killing anyone?" Both of these seem to work for them, somehow? Most of their original full-length films are pretty mediocre.

Dude my kids watch all that cake shit. Is it Cake, Nailed It etc.

Netflix understands the kids want to watch someone make a cake that looks like a shoe, and Dad wants to watch a true crime show about a family that disappeared after watching TV shows about making cakes.
