What are we watching now?

Call me old fashion, but i think the ”roast” trend (which is also old) when i comes to certain things have gone to far… especially when humiliation takes it down to a disgusting level.
I perfectly understand though that it’s a thing in those kinda events that the entertainer is expected to humiliate the biggest names, and it’s also expected by the biggest names to suck it up and laugh. Anyhow. That one was… below my acceptance. Did Will reacted wrong? Hell yeah, he was way out of line with that action. He could just have walked up to Chris afterwards and tell him that he and Jada felt hurt. Chris would have dealt with that professionally too.

Just my opinion though. Two unfortunate things at once. Both are wrong, and both are right.

FWIW; I liked Chris Rock in that last season of Fargo. And that's mostly about it. I don't think he is particularly funny, despite being held in super high regard by many in the comedy circles. I think Jada is completely unlikable in about 15 different directions and I think Will was put in a tough spot and reacted in a way many others would probably react.

I would probably agree with everything. But often things about celebrities in america doesn’t always get to the print over here, except the typical “person is famous” fact. Like… I don’t know shit about Jada really. Is she a mean sob? :p

You mean besides forcing them to have an “open” marriage so she can sleep with a toy-boy under Will’s nose, even when he didn’t want to?

We are watching the new 4th season of The Sinner. Good so far.

Really enjoyed the others. Season 1 was the best. Season 2 and 3 were not as great but still a good watch.
Is it up on Netlfix...? We need something new on the list.

Finished up S1 of Gangs of London. Overall; I liked it. Though it drug a bit. Mainly because it's a British crime/police procedural and they have to have drama. But also because the fights were SO. RIDICULOUSLY. BRUTAL. It's tough to keep that momentum.

Not a huge fan of Peaky Blinders kid portrayal of Sean and Elliot was great as a bada$$ but had some transitionary kind of awkwardness when trying to display other spectrums of emotion other than ultraviolence :rofl Will be interesting to see how nutso the next season is given the plot developments?

Yep. Complete season available on Netflix!

New season of Unsolved Mysteries on Netflix. First episode was a shit show though. Producers omitting facts, and clearly trying to shove the parents narrative down viewers throats. Makes me wonder how many of these episodes are sketchy.

UFO episode was cool and engaging though.

Okay Turks - two outstanding & super high quality shows are Babylon Berlin (series) and Das Boot (series)

Both in German with English subtitles of course and they're certainly worth your time & effort.

Also, if you want to laugh your nuts off a great British show is called Brassic.

Don't forget to watch S02 of Gangs Of London as it shifts slight to S01 and I would consider it a better offering.

Started Guillermo Del Toro 's Cabinet of Curiosities on NF. Nice little horror anthology series. Two episodes in so far and it's good. Del Toro has the Mexican Hitchcock vibe down pat. It will be interesting to see how the various filmmakers put their stamp on things.

Revisiting Episodes of No Reservations and Parts Unknown.

Anthony Bourdain was a Dude's dude!

Traveling more is definitely on my list of things to do more of. After the nest is empty.

It's a long haul but once you are there; it's pretty wild. We still have dogs so there is that but it is certainly a new vibe from what you are used to having the kiddos around.

Finished up Cabinet of Curiosities yesterday. Some great episodes. Not perfect but really good across the board. I will say Lot 36 and the F. Murray Abram episode (The Autopsy) were my favorites. Really they were all solid. Even the ones I didn't think I was going to like )"The Outside" and the one with Ron Weasley).

Just started this today and made it through most of the episodes. The one "benefit" of the pandemic is when anyone at work is feeling under the weather, we're under fairly strict orders to just stay home, test or not. Woke up with a sore throat and it's pj's and guitar all day today!

I left off on the face cream episode. I really love the look of everything in this, they did an outstanding job with the set design/photography. I wish I could get into horror more, but it takes very little for me to lose interest when it comes to supernatural stuff for some reason. I was loving the first episode until the demon octopus thing showed up.

I liked the face cream episode much more than I expected I would. There is supernatural throughout so your enjoyment will probably vary. Fingers crossed on the sore throat!

Ugh! Get better! That sucks.

I don't know if I'm actually feeling worse than I was earlier or if getting the positive test is telling me I should be feeling worse. My throat is done for and so far every time someone has called my work phone and I squeak out a "This is Drew" when I answer then tell whoever it is I'm not at work because I'm feeling like sh*t, it's an invitation to have a whole conversation. :rofl

It's mostly my throat and a very lethargic feeling, the lethargic feeling is what is creeping in more and more but I'm not sure if it's in my head or not. I had it last January and it was over with in 3 days without much of a hassle.
