The Helix in 2023... still worth it and fw3.7

I know it's nitpicky, but i'd loooove to have those small block icons from Helix Native in the hardware counterparts as well. It sounds dumb, but i find these really useful when browsing stuff like cabs.

I recall @Digital Igloo mentioning that Helix UI graphics are constrained by some decisions made in the past but, hey, a man can dream...

19:00 Add funny pictures like on Turd Blaster Pro - OK, enough of this, ban this man now!

Yeah, I'd love that! :)

Love mine still. Bought my second Stomp in September to use for my live bass rig. Will roll with my Helix Rack til it dies, then have a memorial service for it and bury it in the south forty by Old Yeller.

I've said this way too much but stomp XL is goldilocks for me. Got it for $550 new with full warranty on release day and I've used it fully ITB since. It has the perfect form factor, # of switches, UI, DSP (well I’ll never complain if we get more out of it) for me. I can throw it in my carry on for fly dates and can use it as an electric, acoustic, bass rig for direct, IEMs, to power amp return, or in front of an amp. Not to mention I can power it off a battery bank and it has a perfect pedalboard friendly size (but I've never needed to use it that way).

NEVER SELL THE STOMP.

Clicking the grid icon in HX Edit's model list switches all the amps, cabs, and effects to much bigger images.

Wait, what? o_O

I'm about to do the same. Gearing up to start taking the Stomp XL out, a lot more, instead of the Helix. Definitely worth it's weight in gold, I've had it on a few fly dates, and many casino gigs, in front of provided amps. It's been an amazing purchase.

Regarding Helix, it's quite amazing what they did with that box, I mean, to still be a top dog competitor, in the age of hardware/software/GUI, (while others have copied your ideas mind you), this many years after launch, it simply incredible to me.
