The Food Thread

I’ve not, but I’ll order some and give it a spin. The contents of my fridge are mostly various hot sauces

They're not too hard core but they're super tasty and a bit unique (pimentos!?)

Grill up some hot Italian sausages and bury them in the mustard....

That stuff is absolute fire! As is their Asian Zing! :chef

I’ll have to try that one. I always enjoyed their wings a long time ago but it seems like the quality fell waaay off. Sauces still on point though

Except I don’t like their revamped blazin sauce… old one had a much better flavor imo and I don’t think the new one is any spicier. The old one was delicious

Here’s my take:

Asian Zing

2 tsp cornstarch
4 tsp Rice Wine Vinegar (or white)
1 tbsp honey
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup Huy Fong Chili-Garlic Sauce (substitute with Sriracha)
1 tbsp Soy Sauce
2 tsp freshly squeezed Lemon or pineapple juice
1 tbsp grated ginger (substitute with ginger paste)
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder

Simmer on medium heat until thickened.

I made red beans and rice tonight with Andouille sausage, ham hocks, and a couple of smoked turkey drumsticks.

Seasoned with black pepper, cayenne pepper, Cajun seasoning, hot Hungarian paprika and garlic powder.

Served with basmati rice cooked in chicken broth.

Controversial topic for some reason, but an in n out just opened up basically across the street from me last week. There's been a few opened in CO the last few years but none close enough for me to bother getting out to. Went to this new one, only was in line for about 15 min, delicious :chef its been years since I've had in n out but I've always been a fan

Always happy to have more burger options close buy. I am not a tribalist when it comes to burgers, give them all to me :love

I love in n out. Whenever we visit my wife's family we swing by in n out on the way to their house from the airport and get a double double animal style with a vanilla shake. :chef

In and Out is the nuts! We got one just a couple miles away. (y)

Tried something different recently. Cut up some chicken and marinaded it overnight in a mix of
olive oil, lime juice, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic, onion, cumin, cinnamon, and a bit of nutmeg

Roasted it at 425 for about a half hour and then let it rest for 10 mins.
So juicy with a Middle Eastern/Indian vibe to it.
