Stealth 50 incoming

Its wider than the cabinet so keeping it on the bottom looks better (for me) vs T-stack and helps with bass coupling. Which is especially helpful in this room where it's like a total rig swallower.

Still not enough to override my internal "this is how things should be set up safely at a gig" system, sorry.

So circling back to the Stealth 50. The return window is rapidly approaching and I was still on that familiar fence about it. Gigged it once. I liked it a lot. But still wasn't fully sold using it for live work. Mainly because it not 100% working tonally with everything in my signal chain. As well as my F12s and IRs I am using with it. AKA don't ask.

I decided to give it a different kind of spin today. I took the headphone out and ran it to my III for post effects. Holy fucking fuck; if there ever was a Mandolorian opportunity; this was it

All channels and the built in cab emulation sounded FANTASTIC. Lordy :love:love:love So the BL will continue on for live work and the Stealth will stay for tubes in the "studio".

I need to try mine this way. I was contemplating letting it go to help out with some unexpected expenses and grabbing a 6505 Synergy module to pick up the slack. hmmmm.....

As far as direct from "loaded down" amp experiences go between the BL, the VII and the Stealth; I would say it is easily the best of the 3. Despite having probably what would be considered a comical load and cabinet emulation compared to the loads and emulation built in to the other amps. First time this way and wall but very impressed \m/

It’s true, modelers -can- sound good once paired with tube power and a real cab :rollsafe

*ducks for cover*

I do agree that is where they shine the most. In my experience. :idk

I love them with other powering/monitoring options, too. But yeah, tube
power and an actual guitar cab. :chef
