Stealth 50 incoming

But once you do add a boost to the Blue and get it dialed in… buddy it can be :chef Also, Resonance knob FTW. Congrats, killer amp. Didn’t you used to have a 5150 at some point?
I've had maaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnnny. OG is my fave. 6534+ is a sleeper.

Eagle has landed. Thoughts.

Clean is pretty damn marvelous with some judicious tweaking. I like red with gain WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY down and channel cranked up. Gets some good crunch on that borderline before it all falls to flub and haziness. I don't like it with the gain dialed up much past 2. If that.

Blue is again; the star. Red gain down af as a crunch to blue with gain up about 1/2way is a great channel switching vibe. Mids and highs up pretty high on both channels with lows dialed back considerably on blue and almost off on red.

Tele is back in the house as well. It doesn't like high gain amps ime. Howly like a motherfucker!

Dude the Stealth clean channel is kinda low key good. Errrrrbody just doesn’t want to admit it and potentially offend the boutique edge of breakup cork sniffers.

Says the guy who, with choice from the history of amplification, intentionally uses the SLO clean channel on the AxeFx. :ROFLMAO:

Maybe it’s time to throw some EMGs in it
It's unbridled af sounding! It is a bit more controllable through the FR12 but it definitely is more sensitive to how I have whatever rig gain staged. More prone to feeding back. I kinda like that vibe with teles, if I'm being honest; provided I can wrangle it in just enough to be "controllable". I have the new bridge and tuners installed so I am going to give it a rest for a bit before I decide to take it apart again.

Yeah; green is great. I am semi-wondering if the last person already did some tube rolling. Green is supposed to have a Plexi mode when you crank the knobs on that channel but it isn't near as gainy as the example I heard on it at stock. I feel like they might have already stuck a 5751 in somewhere. Or the examples I heard were all guitars with Dimarzio X2Ns with the master cranked :wat :rofl

If they did put a lower gain tube in there anywhere; it's getting moved right the f over to that red channel. Good god that thing is messy! That channel almost was doing the Plexi thing with the gain on like .75 :nails That's really the only way I liked running it in my first round.

I need to work on my preset for next week's gig and tame some of the noise I am getting with the FM as well. Or just stfu and go all in with the III :sofa:satan

Blue is perfection. And makes me want to ditch Love Shack and get back to :satan:satan:satan:satan:satan

The clean and crunch on the real world SLO is criminally over looked. After having my SLO30 for a good while now I’ve learned it’s one of my most versatile amps I own. I’d go as far to say if I had to go to only owning one amp I think that would be it.

What's funny about the whole "saving on cartage/freight" thought process for big name artists going to amp modeling still has them rolling 4 250lb racks full of rack modelers, pedal drawers, power amps, switchers and in-ear rigs giving them the exact same problem they are trying to combat only with slightly different types of gear.

The bigger WTF for me is what % of the overall cartage is the f-ing guitar amp when you have full blown PAs and stage monitor setups you have to lug anyway. Figure for a 15-20K seat arena the PA to guitar amp weight ratio's gotta be 50:1 - or more?
Just bring the Marshall for cripes sake.

I still think about an SLO but the $ to wattage ratio is a little too imbalanced for me. Despite knowing full well it would be more than loud enough.
